Busy last 3 days. I was all ready to work on the web site for work yesterday, but NK handed me 3 pictures to splice together then cut into 5. I got that done right before 5. I know that they will be back on my chair for me to label. That should take the next 2 days with overtime….

Carolyn got tickets the other day to hear Mike Foley speak at The Collage of NJ last night. Great talk. He told some wrestling stories and talked about his book. He did about a 1/2 hour question and answer period after wards. He then signed his book if you had it. I got our copy of “Have a Nice Day” signed. He is a nice guy and talked to everyone who had the books signed..

Web page work and house cleaning

Well it took most of the day yesterday to get the picture labeled and cleaned up for NK. Today wasn’t to bad. Going to start work on the web page soon. Saw what they tried to do and can see why Mike didn’t like it.

Plan on working around the house tonight, hope to get the computer room cleaned and maybe get the web cam working.

Chat page and John Rossi

Well didn’t work much on the the chat page yesterday. Spent most of the day hanging out with Carolyn and Avery. Fixed the computer for John Rossi, had to wipe the drive and reinstall the OS.
Going to work on the project picture for NK shouldn’t take to much time.

New Site

Well the Site is now up and running. It only took me a few hours to get it some what the way I want it. I still need to add the links section and some other stuff. The next projest is getting the Thanksgiving Chat page ready and done. I think I can knock that out tommorow.

Wow it was a great first day

What a first day…all I kept hearing from everyone is “it’s your network, do what you want.” The people are nice and the atmosphere is good. I think I will like it.

They had a list of 27 to-do things. Most of them I think I can get done by the end of the week. The biggest change I want to make is getting 3com cards in every machine. Other then that the network just needs a little tweaking. More later on the day.

Getting Ready To Start the New Job

Well only a few hours till I start the new job. Looking forward to it but a little nervous, but hey I’ve changed jobs before and did okay. Had to cancel out on Henry for tonight Phil & friends show. If I hadn’t gone on Friday then I would have gone and just dragged myself out of bed tomorrow. The Friday night show was great. Jay & Cindy Gaffney were cool to go with and Henry was his ever loving self. It’s great to have cousins who are cool. For more info on the Phil show check out “The Phil Zone”.

More next week on the new job. This journal will be mostly day by day accounts of the new job and my new life stemming from it. So stay tuned.

Last Day at Elcom

Well today is my last day at Elcom, Inc they are throwing a going away party for me at lunch. I will miss the people (who I consider friends) on the IT team.
I feel a little down cleaning out the cube and packing the car. Wow you never know what you have till you leave a job. I have the Phil & Friends show to look forward to tonight. More on that later.
